That glowing skin, so many work so hard to keep, started with one actress, we still admire her, today! It was, the French designer, Coco Chanel. Who, in the 1920s, unintentionally promoted the tan after burning herself on a yacht trip. From their, people wanted that bronze glow! -bbvaopenminded.com

But Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, were pale and just absolutely, gorgeous!

Yet so many, still tan regularly. Why?

My personal experience, I wasn’t huge on laying out in the sun.

I didn’t use tanning beds a lot.

I thought I was getting “a base tan “.

I paid the price for a moment of beauty!

I was the Audreys and Marylin’s in the world, PALE!

And I was ashamed to be. I’m so mad at myself for that. Being who you were born to be, is beautiful.

Instead, I was that girl, just begging for color.

I thought I was helping myself, getting a “base tan”.

Base tan is a myth!

And now I’m suffering the consequences.

No tanning, can help reduce all the risks of sun damage and skin cancer.

Doesn’t that sound better? To look younger, and just be, YOU!?

Do everything, I didn’t!!
•Don’t tan
•Save your skin
•Be sun smart
•Stay shady
•Be aware of your skin
•Wear spf
•Wear sun protective clothing
•Seek shade
•Do skin checks.

So you won’t suffer like I have.

Because, your risk of developing skin cancer from sunbeds, is a likelihood, of 75%!

Outdoor tanning, really is your DNA being injured (skin). Tanning, actually damages your skin cells and speeds up visible signs of aging.

Stay young and healthy! Be careful and stay shady, my friends!
