I was sitting at the park, with my daughter. She loves going in the winter, when the weather is perfect, with half the neighborhood kids. I thought it was crazy that, with so many little ones running around, that maybe a couple were wearing sunscreen. After I had come across, Sunstations USA on Instagram, I thought “why can’t we have sunscreen, in our AZ local parks?” So, I decided that I would make an effort to get this done, for AZ parks. I tagged, the City and Sunsation USA, everyday. I reached out to Sunsation, to see what I could do on my end. They were very helpful and sent the specs to me, so I could send them to the city, if need be. After 61 days, on my IG stories, I received a message from the City. They were also, very proud of the passion, I have about sun safety and skin cancer. My story, surviving Stage IV Melanoma, they were amazed at my drive to help others. They offered to have me, be a guest on “People of Peoria”. A small segment on our local TV station. I was thrilled at the opportunity, so we set up a date and time and made it happen. here is my TV interview and mt hope for sunscreen in our city parks. Since Covid19 hit in March of 2019, this project has been placed on hold, with no date to restart. I won’t give up and hope for Sunstation USA to be in AZ local parks in 2021.

Interview with the city, to start getting attention across the state. (before Covid19 hit)
